The departure

We are testing a simple question: can a road rider decide on Friday evening, carry what is needed in jersey pockets and one slim half-frame bag, and leave without turning the bike into a luggage platform?

The route, weather, carry weight, and product observations are not published here yet. We will add them only when the record is complete.

What this record will hold

The finished record will document the loadout, the departures that held up, and the things that made leaving slower. It will also state what did not work.
